Assessor Vacancy
Our highly successful, innovative and forward thinking fostering service requires additional Form F assessors. We are currently supporting a select number of local authorities who have tasked us with integrating vulnerable and complex young people into a ‘family setting’. Due to an increase in fostering assessments across a number of locations, we require additional independent social workers to support us in meeting demand.

London, Essex, Kent, Medway, Surrey and Thames Valley

Payment: £1,650.00 per completed assessment (Health & Safety audit completed internally)
Responsibilities: Qualified and experienced social workers required on a self employed basis to undertake competency based Form F Assessments on prospective foster carers.
Credentials: You must have a social work qualification, have prior experience of report writing, be registered with the GSCC, have transport, relevant insurances and be willing to travel. Statutory and company checks will be undertaken prior to commencement.
Key attributes: You will communicate effectively and comfortably with children and adults whilst getting to the truth and you will show respect and consideration to prospective carers whilst undertaking this vital and sensitive work. You must be able to plan, organise and manage a caseload, keep appropriate and accurate case records and deliver against tight deadlines. Fluent, accurate, concise and objective reports, which are consistent with statutory guidance and FosterCare UK policies and procedures are a pre-requisite. You will need to be competent in Word, Excel and PowerPoint and have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at head office and with other professionals.
